Mark Welch
Mark Welch is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana. He started his first construction job in 1982. Shortly after he started and completed a 4 year course in carpenter apprentice school and joined the carpenter union. His commercial work experience in these years included extensive concrete work from oil field compressor pads, to wave pools.
He went into business for himself in 1992, and in 1993 marked the beginning of H.M. Welch Construction, Inc. and his passion for building homes flourished. Now hundreds of new homes are built to date, and H.M. Welch Construction continues to construct above standard building systems.

Mark and his wife, Cindy of 26 years, are blessed with a beautiful family of 5 children and 12 grandchildren, whom they enjoy having fun with every minute they can. In his spare time he enjoys hunting and fishing. Mark is living his dream of building, and you can have confidence in knowing every home H.M. Welch builds is built with pride as if it were their own home!
